Giving Tuesday is more than just a day, it's a movement to remind us all of the power and importance of giving of oneself for our global community.

Here in the United States, our Thanksgiving tradition reflects not only a wonderful day of gratitude for all that we have but also the kickoff to holiday shopping as it ushers in the retail extravaganzas known as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

These two days represent some of the biggest shopping days of the year and Giving Tuesday is just a reminder that we should all take a break for at least one day to give to those in need. NGOs worldwide reach out on this day to tell their stories and remind us all of the work that they do and the work that still needs to be done.
