Chapters: How To Get Involved With CFC In Your Area!
What is a CFC Chapter?
A chapter is a group of CFC supporters in a specific area who want to have some fun while spreading the word to their community about Caring for Cambodia!
What Does a Chapter Do?
Chapters are designed to build a community around Caring for Cambodia, allowing you to meet and socialize with others who share your passion while also allowing you to introduce friends and neighbors to the organization. Whether it is having a happy hour, championing a toothbrush drive, or hosting a fundraiser - your goal is to share with people why CFC is so special.

Volunteering at one of Feed My Starving Children's many packing events around the country is a great chapter activity. FMSC is an important partner of CFC and they are integral to the success of our Food for Thought program. By using volunteers like our chapter members to pack the nutrient and vitamin-rich food packs, FMSC keeps costs down and helps CFC serve more than 2,000,0000 meals per year!

Many chapters host events to bring members together, raise awareness of CFC, and raise funds to support our mission. Events range from Bunco nights and dinner parties to black-tie galas and everything in between! Host a charity walk or 5k run, plan a golf tournament or a cocktail hour. CFC's staff is right there to help with whatever support the chapter needs!

One of the most exciting and rewarding things a chapter can do is plan a trip to the CFC schools! Traveling to schools is always special but it's even better when you can share the experience with friends. There is nothing more satisfying than watching the money your chapter raised for a new playground, study hut or library turn into a reality for CFC students in front of your own eyes!

A great way to get together with chapter members and prospective members is to host a book club! Include coffee or a glass of wine and you have the makings of a fun, casual event where everyone can share a laugh and get to know each other better. Jamie Amelio's Staying Bothered, Loung Ung's First They Killed My Father, and Vaddey Ratner's In The Shadow Of The Banyan are great places to start!
