CFC MAD Trip Itinerary, July 16-20, 2020

Itinerary

Please note the following is a sample itinerary. Dates and events can be modified to fit your group’s schedule.
Lodging is booked at the Tara Angkor Hotel in Siem Reap, a CFC partner hotel. Trip costs (based on a group of 10) are $500 per adult and $250 per child.

This cost includes your CFC project as well as local transportation, guide services, temple entry, one group dinner and a t-shirt.  
Hotel rates are $23 per night based on double occupancy when booked with CFC and tourist visas are $30 upon arrival in Cambodia.

 

Wednesday, July 15 – Arrival in Siem Reap

Transfer from Siem Reap airport to hotel for check in via CFC van.

6PM Meet in lobby for dinner at Viroth’s restaurant (not included in trip cost).

Thursday, July 16 – Work Project

7:30AM Meet in lobby for transfer to school for CFC orientation and work project.  Eat breakfast before departure.

11AM Travel to hotel for lunch, swim, shower

1:45PM Meet in hotel lobby, back to school for project

4PM Return to hotel

6PM Meet in lobby for group dinner with CFC staff at Neary Khmer Restaurant

Friday, July 17 – Work Project

5:45AM Meet in lobby for transfer to schools for Food For Thought Program

7:30AM Return to hotel for breakfast

11AM Return to hotel for lunch, swim, shower

1:45PM Meet in hotel lobby for transfer back to project site for afternoon

5PM Return to hotel for free evening. Optional cooking class at Le Tigre Papier (cost $20, not included in trip cost).  Dining and shopping recommendations are provided in the 2020 trip guide.

Saturday, July 18 – Work Project

8AM Meet in lobby for transfer to schools. Eat breakfast before departure.

11AM Return to hotel/town for lunch, swim, shower

1:45PM Return to project site for afternoon or optional touring/free time

5PM Return to hotel for free evening. Optional – 8pm Performance of Phare, the Cambodian Circus (cost $18-$35USD, not included in trip cost)

Sunday, July 19 – Visit Temples

5:00AM Optional: meet in lobby to see sunrise over Angkor Wat, return to the hotel for breakfast

8AM Depart from hotel for tour of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom.  Return to hotel/town for lunch OR lunch near temples

PM Depart for home or free evening in Siem Reap

Evaluation of Information Protection Practices -- Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with organization policies and procedures governing the security, confidentiality and quality of our information. Employee Access, Training and Expectations -- Our organization values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of user information. In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions.
  10. How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us at volunteers@caringforcambodia.org and remove - using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
  11. Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties? We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.
  12. What About Legally Compelled Disclosure of Information? We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights.

Permission to Use of Materials The right to download and store or output the materials in our website is granted for the user's personal use only, and materials may not be reproduced in any edited form. Any other reproduction, transmission, performance, display or editing of these materials by any means mechanical or electronic without our express written permission is strictly prohibited.
