Running with his “CFC Orange Family”

Submitted by Peik Chun

“On December 2, 2018, I ran a Khmer Empire half-marathon with CFC family in front of the famous Angkor Wat temples. I felt so excited to meet many people from difference places all around the world. This year I ran with other CFC alumni. On the day, I woke up early to meet my CFC family and I was surprised that everyone was wearing an awesome orange CFC t-shirt. It blew up my mind to see all of them get involved more with us. This year, I had more fun than last year because I have trained hard; running triple times in advance before the event. Also, I was encouraged by CFC alumni who helped motivate me on that day of running. I had such a great time this year! I got number 68 out of 2604 people and I ran in 51: 14min. Thank you so much CFC Orange Family. I still believe that I will join with CFC again next year.”
