Dear Caring Friends,
Please join me in congratulating Bryan Morytko as Caring for Cambodia’s executive director! In this newly created position, which will report directly to me as CEO, Bryan will oversee our core team and many of the day-to-day operations of our organization.
While living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Bryan and his family traveled to Siem Reap several times and were touched by its people. Upon returning to live in the U.S., Bryan sought a way to help the people of Siem Reap and discovered Caring for Cambodia. Bryan officially joined the CFC family in 2018 when he became the leader of CFC’s Northeast U.S. Chapter. Most recently he held the position of director of communications, where he managed our external communications strategy, led the charge on revamping our website and newsletter, and supported our U.S. and Singapore teams with content and messaging for fundraising appeals and events.
With a master’s in nonprofit management and a bachelor’s in communications, Bryan brings a wealth of expertise to CFC and will be focusing initially on expanding our donor base, strengthening our chapters, and working with our development team to maximize fundraising efforts.
I couldn’t be more proud to have him work alongside me and our fantastic team. After a tough year, I have very high hopes for 2021 as we continue to bring quality education to our students and educate the next generation of Cambodian leaders.
